How to check a business credit score in Australia
A credit score – sometimes called a credit rating – is information lenders can access to help decide whether to give you a loan or credit. Credit scores are determined using personal and financial information about you and your credit history.
If you didn’t realise a business could have a credit score, you’re not alone. According to MYOB and small business lender OnDeck, 93 per cent of Australian businesses have never accessed their credit report.
Businesses are able to check their scores via the agencies above, although they require a fee. OnDeck offers free business credit reports.
