On April 17th, Noah Breslow, CEO of OnDeck Group, hosted a select group of brokers, aggregators and finance partners at an intimate event centred around SMEs and the changing lending landscape in Australia, the importance of SME finance to the Broker industry and OnDeck’s growth and leadership in this space. Joining Noah was special guest Stephen Koukoulas, Managing Director of Market Economics, and Economic Advisor to illion (formerly Dunn & Bradstreet). Both speakers brought a wealth of experience and shared their thoughts and insights on what the future holds and how brokers can use this knowledge to not only better understand the market, but to succeed and win.
The MC for the event was Tim Gilbert, Today Show sports presenter, and during the panel discussion we had former Balmain Tigers and State of Origin player Stephen Hoiles, speak about how they transformed from professional sports players into small business owners.
The event took place at the Ashurst Australia Ballroom, with network over drinks and nibbles on the Ashurst Garden Terrace, overlooking Martin Place.
Noah was in Sydney to attend the AltFi Australasia Summit on April 16th, where he delivered a keynote address on global forces in online small business lending and his thoughts on what the future has in store for Australian SMEs.
