Sales Agent – Renewals
The Opportunity
In the Renewals sales team we provide our existing customers who have paid down a large portion of their first loan with the opportunity to seek additional finance. In doing so we provide solutions to business owners that allow them to focus on running their business. Our team takes great pride in educating our customers on the best lending options for their business, not ours. A sale is great, but a return customer is even better and we are committed to earning business that lasts a lifetime.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Renew loans for existing customers consistently at or above monthly target level
- Nurture/Relationship manage customers that are coming up to the end of their loan period to ensure OnDeck remains front of mind for future financing needs
- Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s and sales targets (essential)
- Making a high volume of outbound / inbound phone calls to existing customers who may be eligible for a loan renewal
- Explaining the key benefits of renewing a loan to existing OnDeck customers
- Handling customers objections
- Closing the sale and signing up new loans
- Developing and maintaining accurate product knowledge
- Liaising with relevant internal departments to process deals
- Effective note taking on all client interactions and input into CRM systems
- Understand and apply concepts of deal structure and strategy that are proven models for successful achievement
- Follow up on existing customer leads and maintain an active pipeline daily
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Serve as an ambassador for the OnDeck Australia brand
About you:
- Sales or call center experience. Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience
- A lot of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
- A great personality with superior communications skills
- Focus on your goals and have a real desire to succeed
- Powerful work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate high degrees of diligence and accountability
- Ability to exercise your own judgement and discretion while working independently
